Cv Axle Clicking When Turning . I immediately thought it was my cv joints and took it in today. It drives great, except for a clicking/binding that occurs while making left turns under moderate throttle that i suspect is a bad cv joint.
They are called the inner cv joint and outer cv joint. When cv joints get worn out, the joints become very loose and make clicking sounds when turning. If the grease leaks out, water and debris can contaminate the joint, accelerating wear and creating excessive clearance.
Replace the whole axle asap or it might give out and cause the rear diff to work overtime.
